| Around 2400 years ago, the great
ancient educator and thinker remarked in his
analects ¡° Lun Yu¡±: A gentleman devotes his
efforts to the roots, for once the roots are
established, therefore grows the way. Students
are the roots of the school and their way
is the conscious of self-reliance and the
ability to make self development. For any
educational institution, be it a high school
or university, the essence is always the
students, while the mission of our school
is to cultivate the students¡¯ sense of self-reliance
and creativity.
Only with the awareness of responsibility,
can we stand on the earth as true men. Only
with the ability to create, can we hope
to achieve self-realization. The great end
of all our efforts is the growth of our
students. That is why we stress not the
success alone but the effort making process
as a whole; not the scores in various examinations
but the character building of responsible
citizens for the nation. Our education is
more about creativity than mere acceptance
of book knowledge; one aimed at tomorrow
rather than today.
NSFZ offers everything needed for an all-round
education. Here lies a long history to taste,
a diverse culture to appreciate, a stage
of freedom to perform on and countless opportunities
to create. Every student is the ¡°sun¡± in
teachers¡¯ eyes, whose rise to success needs
not only motivation from inside but also
inspirations from others.
It is our sincere hope that in 20 years
you will return with achievement and satisfaction;
in 40 years you will take pride in your
contributions to our country and the whole
society; in 60 years, you are still able
to keep healthy and smile from your heart.
It is not the peak that a mountain climber
pursues after, but the burning desire and
childhood dream that make him persist till
the very end. Actions speak louder than
words. It is your action that makes your
